Digital Body Statue

The fashion industry has undergone significant changes in its approach to garment creation, shifting from personal tailoring to mass production to keep up with the demands of our fast-growing world.

However, every body is unique, and new technologies present an opportunity to revisit and personalize this industrialized process, bringing back the craft and connection between ourselves and our clothing.

The Digital Body Statue project explores this intersection between technology and personalization, showcasing how our bodies can be treated as unique entities with all their nuances and imperfections.

The statue is created through a 3D scanning process that captures the body's shape and structure, followed by software and technology to generate the skeleton and the parametric Voronoi skin of the statue. The result is a personalized and bespoke representation of the human form that celebrates our individuality and challenges traditional notions of mass-produced fashion.
